HSC2018 - 高分三大指标

让我们忘掉状元，因为阿朱已经说了那个是要靠运气的，不是成绩就好就有的。而本篇给你分析高分三大指标，非常实际，帮助你看懂每年HSC发榜季里我们这些人到底在瞎吵吵什么？

先说一下看了那些学校排名对鸡血家长有什么用?

大家其实不用太在意每年的上上下下，特别是20名之后的上上下下，我很同意Matrix网站上的这段话，翻成白话文就是，如果你想要ATAR99+，那么就要成为All Round Achiever，如果有个学校常年排名前20，优秀率（success rate）经常在50%左右，那么你只要排在这个学校里的前40%，这个目标就能达成，为什么？请看阿朱给你扫盲。

今年，近76,700名学生完成了至少一门HSC课程科目，凡是参加一门HSC科目考试的就算HSC考生，所以，那些11年级来提前考一门或者两名的学生也算。

大约11%的学生成绩在Band 6（2unit单科90分以上）或者E4（1unit Extension科目45以上），41%的学生成绩在Band 5和6，70%的学生成绩在Band4/5/6。

周四大约有68000名学生获得HSC证书，周五上午有56142名学生有资格获得ATAR。

Distinguished Achievers（杰出学生成就奖）

Distinguished Achievers lists the students who achieved a result in the highest band possible (Band 6 or Band E4) for one or more courses. Where a student has studied one or more courses at a different school, the school reported is the main school.

翻译一下就是说，你至少有一个HSC科目达到了Band 6或者Band E4，大白话就是有100满分里的90以上或者是50分满分里的45以上。每年媒体上的学校排名就是按照每个学校里distinguished achievers的数量来排的。

比如今年James Ruse Agricultural High School，Year12的学生一共参加HSC科目的考试总共1001次（Total Attempt），其中748人次（High Scores）考到了优秀，Success Rate（distinguished achievers）就是748/1001 =74.73%。

North Sydney Boys High的学生一共参加HSC科目的考试总共965次（Total Attempt），其中561人次（High Scores）考到了优秀，Success Rate（distinguished achievers）就是561/965 =58.13%，今年排第二。

今年共有近一万七千名人获颁杰出学生成就奖（distinguished achievers ），Top 22%的比例，还是蛮高的，说明考一门90分以上不难。

All Round Achievers （全科杰出成就奖）

All-round Achievers lists the students who achieved a result in the highest band possible (Band 6 or Band E4) in 10 or more units of courses in their current pattern of study.

简单说，选了10unit以上的HSC科目（通常在5-6门单科），结果全部科目的HSC分数都是优秀（2unit的科目90分以上Band6，Extension科目45以上E4)，这种叫做样样好，简称All Rounder（5项全能或者6项全能）。

今年有1250名学生因为所参加的所有HSC科目（10个单元或者以上）上都取得了优秀成绩（普通科目90分以上Band6，或者Extension科目E4）而成为全能选手（All Round Achievers）。成为All Round Achievers的比例很低，全州平均来说才1.8%，这个是牛校最实在的指标，学校越牛逼，All Round Achievers的学生越多，比如James Ruse，160多个学生里会有90几个All Round Achievers。

一个学校有多少个这样的学生（占总12年级考生的比例）就基本决定了学校的学业成绩排名。 All Rounder对于考生最后ATAR有重大的意义，虽然不是100%必然，但是All Rounder的学生基本上可以保证ATAR99+，ATAR99+的意思是除了学医学法之外，第一轮大学offer的专业随便挑，都躺着进去。

因为ATAR的成绩数据并不公开，一般很难知道每所学校和个人ATAR的情况，不要紧，你只要看All Rounder的百分比，就可以猜个八九不离十，一个学校里All Rounder占整个学校考生的比例，去相对应你在学校里各科的排名，比如一个学校有考生162人，有25人是All Rounders，比例是15.8%，那么大致可以认为今年这所学校里ATAR99+ 的比例也是15.8%，也就是说，在这所学校里的TOP15，ATAR就能上99。

Top Achiever （全州单科最优奖）

Top Achievers in Course lists the student(s) who achieved one of the highest places in an HSC course or VET exam and also achieved a result in the highest band possible (Band 6 or Band E4).

The maximum place in Top Achievers for each course varies according to the candidature of the course as outlined below.

If students are equal on the highest HSC marks in a course, then the following process is used to determine the recipient(s):

1. take an average of each student's exam mark and assessment mark after alignment to performance bands, each to one decimal place

2. take an average of each student's exam mark and assessment mark before alignment to performance bands, each to two decimal places

3. if an extension course, use the marks awarded for other courses in the subject area.

*The number of students will exceed the number of places where students are equal on the last place reported. If the candidature of a course moves to a lower category for the first time, NESA may decide to award the higher maximum place in Top Achievers for an additional year.

全州单科最优奖（Top Achiever），就是我们通常说的state ranking，这个更牛逼，就是说，有那么一些学霸，他们的单科成绩是全州的前十名（这个科目的考生人数大于1万人就选前20名，科目考生人数在1001至1万之间就选前10，科目考生人生小于1000人的就选前5名），同时他们的单科成绩在Band6或者E4这样的最高档。这个真的很牛，可能才1%人才会有这份荣誉。

下面看一个实例，来自大叔好友chatchat的女儿奇思同学（sydney girls high的school captain）今年的HSC成绩，她就是那类超级学霸。

她首先是All Rounder，牛。

然后是Distinguished Achiever，牛。

最后是Top Achiever，牛。

奇思同学就是牛啊，一人占了仨，特别是English Extension 2（传说中的4U英文）全州第二名，Chinese in Context（这边ABC读的中文科目）全州第三，都是含金量非常非常高的重锤，中英文通才。
